I cordially congratulate you on the occasion of Victory and Peace Day.
Victory in World War II opened new opportunities for the development of our nation. It was a historic opportunity which allowed our Republic and our people to record impressive achievements in almost every domain, in the following years and decades.
Our entire nation contributed to this victory through enormous sacrifice.
And On May 9, 1992, the heroic deed of their grandfathers and fathers was repeated by the modern-day freedom fighters, thus multiplying the glory and honor of the Armenian arms.
The liberation of Shushi once again opened new doors before our people’s peaceful and creative work, and for the flourishing of the nation. This victory likewise was achieved through the greatest sacrifice by our people.
