YEREVAN. –Vulnerable families did not feel increase in gas prices due to government subsidies, Premier Tigran Sargsyan said during Thursday session.

The Armenian government approved today the decision to extend for another year a tariff for vulnerable families. They will be provided 1 cubic meter gas per month for only AMD 100. Gas is supplied to the population of the republic for AMD 132 for 1 cubic meter.

The program has been implemented by the government since April 1, 2011.
