YEREVAN. – The Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) will head four standing committees in the new National Assembly (NA), and, during the NA’s first session on Thursday, the PAP will nominate its candidates for the chairmanship of these committees, Haykakan Zhamanak daily writes.     

“Naira Zohrabyan—who, incidentally, also will be PAP [NA] Faction Secretary—will be nominated for the European Integration Committee; Elinar Vardanyan [will be nominated for the] Human Rights Committee; Samvel Balasanyan [will be nominated for the] Agriculture Committee; [and] Stepan Margaryan [will be nominated for the] Territorial Committee.      

Also, the PAP will have vice-chairs in three committees, but [the matter as to] who will be nominated where will be discussed today [Thursday],” Haykakan Zhamanak writes.
