STEPANAKERT. – Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) President Bako Sahakyan on Tuesday convened a meeting of the NKR Security Council. The organization of the 2012 crop harvest was on the agenda of the discussion.

PM Ara Harutunyan, Minister of Agriculture Andranik Khachatryan, Director of the Rescue Service Arthur Harutyunyan, Director of the Countryside and Agricultural Assistance Fund Vahram Baghdasaryan, and heads of regional administrations delivered respective reports and speeches.

And President Sahakyan entrusted the Cabinet of Ministers to form a situation room, led by the Minister of Agriculture, to carry out all necessary work for efficient organization of the harvesting and to submit a situation report to the President every ten days. The situation room will be formed before Sunday, Office of the NKR President informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Bako Sahakyan also stressed that this strategic matter should be widely covered by the media.
