Former Yerevan mayor rejects parliamentary mandate, Hovhannes Sahakyan becomes M

YEREVAN. – After former Yerevan Mayor Gagik Beglaryan was appointed Minister of Transport and Communication, his parliamentary mandate went to Hovhannes Sahakyan. This was decided during the Armenian Central Electoral Committee’s extraordinary session on Monday, the press service of the CEC informed Armenian

Earlier Sahakyan told Armenian that he would become an MP. Sahakyan was 110th in the Republican Party’s proportional list.

A reliable source told Armenian that Hovhannes Sahakyan will be appointed a secretary of RPA parliamentary faction.
