Google’s homepage for Saturday is devoted to the 100th birth anniversary of English mathematician and cryptanalyst Alan Turing, who greatly contributed to the development of computer science and became the father of the theory of artificial intelligence.    

And in honor of Turing, Google’s traditional homepage is replaced Saturday with the interactive image of Turing’s theoretical computing system, which became one of the cornerstones for designing the theory of artificial intelligence.    

In 2002, Alan Turing was ranked twenty-first on the BBC nationwide poll of the 100 Greatest Britons.
