A new powerful earthquake struck Iran on Wednesday morning.

The 4.3-magnitude tremor was recorded at 8:28am local time, and 23 kilometers southeast of Tabriz city, the US Geological Survey informs.   

The underground shaking’s hypocenter was 9.9 kilometers beneath the surface. And another quake, but this time measuring 4.1, was recorded ten minutes later.

There are no reports on any casualties or devastation.

As Armenian News-NEWS.am informed earlier, a magnitude-6.2 earthquake hit northwestern Iran on August 11, killing 300 people and injuring close to 2,500. The tremor was felt in Armenia and Azerbaijan, too.
