YEREVAN.- Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received on Tuesday a delegation headed by Benoit Scheen, Orange Executive Vice-President for Europe.  

Welcoming the guests, Premier Sagrsyan noted that Orange entered Armenian market in 2009.  

“The government’s decision was fully justified because we have a new company which has increased competition in the field of communication, increased quality of services and the level of access,” Tigran Sargsyan said.  

In his turn, Benoit Scheen thanked the Armenian government for support adding that Orange is willing to continue investments in Armenia. The company is ready to increase the number of services.

Orange Executive Vice-President for Europe introduced newly appointed Director General of Orange Armenia Francis Gelitber who will replace Bruno Duthoit.

The sides also discussed the development of Internet connection throughout Armenia, the issues related to introduction of the phone buttons with Armenian letters as well as investment opportunities.
