Turkish border guards arrested 151 people who tried to cross the border and enter Europe illegally.

They were arrested during an operation in the north-western region of Turkey, not far from Edirne city, Haberciniz website reported.

Among those arrested are citizens of Georgia, Armenia, Syria, Iran, Pakistan and other countries.

They were taken to the department for foreigners and will be exiled from the country.
