YEREVAN. – Conference of the education ministers of the CIS member states and congress of the CIS teachers and education workers will convene in Armenia’s capital city Yerevan on Thursday and Friday, and around 500 delegates will attend these events. 

On Thursday morning, the CIS education ministers and the aforesaid congress attendees will visit the Armenian Genocide Memorial and lay wreaths in memory of the Genocide victims, Armenia’s Education and Science Ministry press service informs.  

Congress of the CIS teachers and education workers will kick off at 11am, and Armenian PM Tigran Sargsyan will address the audience with welcoming remarks. 

Conference of the education ministers of the CIS member states will get underway at 3:30pm, and Armenia’s Education and Science Minister Armen Ashotyan likewise will attend the event.
