TBILISI. – Strike by the workers of Georgian Poti port is ongoing, head of the Apaven Company Gagik Aghajanyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am adding the port is out of work completely.

According to him, there is also a problem for the exported cargo. They have already agreed that that the third ship is unloaded in Batumi, however, another problem arises as there is no terminal.

As for the tariffs for cargo transportation from Batumi, there is no significant difference between Batumi and Poti. To note, workers in Poti declared indefinite strike on Nov. 1 demanding increase of salary and improvement of working conditions.
