Thirty people were affected by an earthquake which hit Iran’s north on Wednesday morning.
The injured were taken to hospital of Varazgan City, FARS agency reported. Most of the injured are schoolchildren. Tremors were registered in Varazgan at 9:55 a.m. local time.
As Armenian News-NEWS.am reported earlier, Armenia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) National Seismic Protection Service recorded a 5.7-magnitude earthquake on Wednesday at 10:26am local time. According to preliminary data, the underground shaking was felt in Armenia, too.
