YEREVAN.- Leader of Heritage Party Raffi Hovannisian said he is ready either to congratulate the winner or accept congratulations in case of free and fair elections.

“If there is election fraud, I expect that civic struggle will continue in the streets, starting form February 19,” he told reporters on Tuesday.

Hovannisian claimed he would not overspend the budget of 100 million set under electoral law. Politician stressed that he would not receive anyone’s assistance.

“There will be struggle if free competition is provided,” Heritage leader said, adding that he wrote about it in his letter to the President.

Raffi Hovannisian believes it is possible to consolidate the forces by the Election Day or at least the second round. Hovannisian noted that he would not compete with Hayrikyan or Bagratyan.

Armenia will hold presidential elections on February 18.
