YEREVAN. – Serviceman Armenak Mkrtchyan of an Armenian MOD military unit lost his life, on Thursday at 5:30am, at MOD Central Clinical Military Hospital. He was diagnosed with cardio-pulmonary insufficiency, the MOD informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.  

The MOD Investigation Service launched a criminal case, and an investigation is underway. 

“The Armenian Ministry of Defense shares the grief of the dire loss and extends its support to Mkrtchyan’s family members, relatives, and fellow servicemen,” MOD informs.
