YEREVAN. – Armenia’s National Security Council (NSC) Secretary Arthur Baghdasaryan chaired Saturday’s session of the Armenian interdepartmental committee that coordinates the implementation of the measures that are envisioned by the Armenia-NATO Individual Partnership Action Plan (IPAP).

“The Armenia-NATO interaction had a successful process in 2012. [A total of] 120 of the 152 planned actions were fully implemented. Our cooperation with NATO encompassed [several] systems. NATO gave a positive assessment to the strategic review in the defense sector noting that our armed forces and their reforms are in line with international standards,” Baghdasaryan specifically said in his opening remarks, NSC press office informs.         

Also, he expressed confidence that the outlined measures will be successful in 2013, too. 

Subsequently, members of the aforesaid interdepartmental committee presented separate reports.
