YEREVAN. – The volume of exports from Armenia made up $112,400,000 in January 2013, the National Statistical Service reports.
The exports grew by 54.6 percent, as compared to January 2012, which is a record high over the course of the past five years.
Furthermore, such high rate of export secures a real progressive increase against imports, owing to which the negative balance of foreign trade has reduced considerably.
To note, the exports in January 2013 comprised $310 million, with a 13-percent growth. Also, there was a substantial improvement in Armenia’s import/export ratio.
