The Armenian Apostolic Church on Sunday marked Easter, the day of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. On this occasion, Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II presided over a Divine Liturgy that was served at the Mother Cathedral of Holy Etchmiadzin.  

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, National Assembly Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan, PM Tigran Sargsyan, Cabinet members, Supreme Spiritual Council members, representatives of diplomatic missions accredited in Armenia, men and women of the fields of education and culture, and numerous pilgrims attended the Holy Mass.     

During the Divine Liturgy, and in connection with Easter, Karekin II also extended his message and blessings to the Armenian nation.
