YEREVAN.- An Armenian police official demands that opposition must prevent any clashes which will become inevitable in case of illegal behavior.

Lieutenant Colonel Karen Movsisyan addressed protesters gathered near the cordon, saying they give 15 minutes to leave the avenue. Then, the police will take measures, he added.

Former presidential candidate Andreas Ghukasyan addressed the protestors. He said they can either join Raffi Hovannisian and go to Tsitsernakaberd, or stay in the avenue and start a sit-down strike.
