STEPANAKERT. – Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), or Artsakh, President Bako Sahakyan on Monday sent a congratulatory address to the participants in the youth conference entitled “Armenian is in our Hearts,” which kicked off in Armenia’s capital city Yerevan.

“I cordially welcome all the participants and guests of the “Armenian is in my Heart” all-Armenian conference.

The organizing of such event is important and required, and I would like to express my gratitude to the Republic of Armenia Ministry of Diaspora for the implementation of this initiative.

The most reliable guarantee for the existence and natural development of the Armenian nation is its strong and independent statehood. The basis of our independent statehood is the unshakable Armenia-Artsakh-Diaspora trinity and its ongoing reinforcement. In this context, the implementation of a unified and a coordinated policy on the key nationwide issues becomes an imperative. The international recognition of the Armenian Genocide, the equitable settlement of the Artsakh issue, and the preservation of the Armenian identity in the Diaspora are these very superior tasks.

The inclusion of these matters and several related issues on the conference agenda is very important. It is twice as praiseworthy that this is a youth event. Such approach makes it possible to organize the activities with a long-term prospect.

I am confident that the conference will successfully fulfill its tasks and contribute to strengthening ties among the Armenian youth in different parts of the world.
