YEREVAN. – Military analyst Arkadi Grigoryan is skeptical on the prospect of manufacturing Georgian-Azerbaijani military planes at the Tbilisi Aerospace Manufacturing (ТАМ) Company.

In his words, one of the key problems in this respect is the fact that TAM does not have the capacity to manufacture a complete aircraft, and therefore it will have to cooperate with a third party, at the very least.

In his words, even under the most favorable conditions, this project could become successful ten years later, and solely with the involvement by an aviation superpower.

To note, citing its military sources, APA News Agency of Azerbaijan had reported that Georgia plans to manufacture modernized Su-25 aircrafts at the Tbilisi Aerospace Manufacturing Company. And official Tbilisi petitioned to Azerbaijan with respect to funding this project and jointly manufacturing these planes. If this offer is accepted, some parts of these aircrafts could be manufactured in Azerbaijani military factories.
