YEREVAN. – The fate of Europe is never determined in Azerbaijan. 

Armenian Analytical Centre on Globalization and Regional Cooperation Director, political scientist Stepan Grigoryan told the abovementioned to Armenian News-NEWS.am, commenting on Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili’s recent statement that the future of the region is determined in Azerbaijan.

Grigoryan considered this statement to be yet another one of Saakashvili’s extravagant announcements which he is making after the last parliamentary elections in Georgia. 

“I do not think that the fate of Europe is determined in Azerbaijan. The fate of Europe is determined in the capital cities—[such as] Brussels, Paris, Berlin, Prague, Warsaw—of the major European countries, but never in Azerbaijan,” Stepan Grigoryan concluded.
