YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Police delegation, led by First Deputy Police Chief Hunan Poghosyan, was in the Georgian capital city Tbilisi to attend ceremonies devoted to the Georgian Internal Affairs Ministry Day.

During his meeting with Irakli Gharibashvili, the Georgian Minister of Internal Affairs, Poghosyan extended Armenian Police Chief Vladimir Gasparyan’s congratulations and invitation, the Armenian Police press service informs. He also underscored the close cooperation between the law enforcement agencies of the two neighboring countries.         

Poghosyan and Gharibashvili discussed the avenues for applying more flexible forms and raising the effectiveness of interaction between the two departments in the fight against crime.
