ETCHMIADZIN. – Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian on Friday received Swiss Ambassador Konstantin Obolensky, who is ending his diplomatic mission in Armenia.

Nalbandian highly assessed the relations that are established between Armenia and Switzerland, and stressed that Ambassador Obolensky has a unique contribution to the strengthening of bilateral ties, Armenian MFA press service informs.

Thanking for the assistance during his mission and the appreciation of his work, the Swiss ambassador noted that he will fondly remember his years that were spent in Armenia.

Edward Nalbandian and Konstantin Obolensky exchanged views on the avenues for the development of Armenian-Swiss relations.

Wishing the Swiss ambassador success in his future diplomatic activities, Nalbandian presented Obolensky the MFA medal, in appreciation of his contribution to the consolidation and expansion of Armenian-Swiss relations.
