YEREVAN. – Armenia’s former Prime Minister, the late Andranik Margaryan would have turned 62 on Wednesday (photos). 

On that occasion, President Serzh Sargsyan, National Assembly Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan, PM Tigran Sargsyan, and capital city Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan—who is Andranik Margaryan’s son—visited Yerevan’s Komitas Pantheon and paid tribute to his memory. 

Prominent public and political figures, past and present officials also visited the pantheon. They all remembered Andranik Margaryan as a patriotic statesman and a good man.  

The officials placed flowers to Margaryan’s monument, and a liturgy was served.
