The visits of OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Leonid Kozhara to Baku and Yerevan were postponed because of the necessity to organize meetings with presidents, special representative on protracted conflicts Andrey Deshchitsa said.
“Paying much attention to the Karabakh issue, we think that the issue must be discussed at high level,” he told Nezavisimaya Gazeta.
The newspaper mentions that president of U.S., France and Russia are expected to sign a joint statement on Karabakh. Ukraine, which is holding chairmanship of the OSCE, expects that the document will give an impetus to talks and will be followed by the visit of the Chairperson-in-Office to Baku and Yerevan.
