YEREVAN. – Newly appointed Russian Ambassador to Armenia, Ivan Volinkin, did not comment on the news about official Moscow’s sale of military equipment to Azerbaijan. 

The ambassador, who was attending the official opening of a medical center, refused Armenian News-NEWS.am’s request to comment on this information.   

Instead, the Russian diplomat pointed to the importance of the opening of the aforementioned medical center.

“See what an important event we are attending. I will not comment on it now; I will comment [on it] later. There will be a press conference,” Volinkin added.
