As of Monday, the visitors to Armenia’s Tatev Monastery can make use of new tourism services.

“TaTever” (“Wings of Tatev”) cableway—which is located in Syunik Region—director Vahan Meliksetyan noted the above-said during a press conference on Monday.

The new tourism complex is called The Gates of Tatev, and aside from the cable cars, it includes rock climbing, hot air ballooning, hiking or bicycle tours, and audio guide services.

Also, a souvenir shop has opened, whereas the restaurant primarily serves local food.           

If they wish, the visitors may spend the night at the thirteen hotels in Goris city, or at the tourist homes in Tatev, Halidzor, and Shinuhayr.
