ALEPPO. – An Armenian woman was killed as a result of the Syrian opposition militia bombing two buses that were heading from Aleppo, Syria, to Beirut, Lebanon.

The press service of the National Primacy of Aleppo of the Armenian Apostolic Church told the aforesaid to Armenian News-NEWS.am.   

Fifteen other Armenians sustained injuries. After having received first aid, some of the injured Armenians were discharged from hospital, and the other injured are still under medical supervision.     

To note, the Syrian opposition forces bombed the two buses on Tuesday at around 3pm. There were numerous Aleppo Armenians in the buses, and the Armenian MFA is verifying the data.
