YEREVAN. – Chairman of the Youth Union of Modern Art was beaten in Yerevan on Thursday afternoon.

The incident took place near petrol station nearby the Youth Modern Art Union in Armenia’s capital Yerevan.

Manuk Nigoyan was passing the petrol station when a vehicle passing at a high speed hit him on the side. Nigoyan advised the driver to be more careful, but latter stopped the car and started a quarrel. The petrol station workers managed to settle the incident, while the driver fled the scene.

The Union Art intends to apply to the traffic police to apprehend and bring the car driver to justice.
