YEREVAN. – Azerbaijani armed forces continued firing on the Armenian positions over the weekend.

During the day and night of August 24, Azerbaijani side opened fire in the direction of Aygedzor, Berkaberd and Koti. During the day and night of August 25, Azerbaijani armed forces fired in the direction of Chinari and Dovekh villages.

Azerbaijan has violated the ceasefire, at its boundaries with Armenia and the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, 7,960 times in the first seven months of 2013.
