YEREVAN. – Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) has no intention to comment on Armenian President’s remark about Armenia’s joining the Customs Union.

“We will not comment, until those responsible for foreign policy submit to the parliament in-depth information about ongoing processes. As soon as information is provided, Prosperous Armenia will comment on the issue,” PAP spokesperson Naira Zohrabyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The statement issued by presidents of Armenia and Russia on Tuesday said Armenia has an intention to join the Customs Union and participate in formation of the Eurasian Economic Union.

Armenia has completed technical talks on free trade area deal in July and had to sign the agreement during the Eastern Partnership summit in Vilnius this November.
