YEREVAN. – The exhibition of the works by Armenian and Georgian painters officially opened Tuesday at the National Library of Georgia, in capital city Tbilisi.

The event is devoted to the 22nd anniversary of Armenia’s independence.    

Armenia’s Ambassador to Georgia, Hovhannes Manukyan, delivered opening remarks in the exhibition, the Armenian MFA press service informs.  

Manukyan underscored the setting up of such functions that aim to develop Armenian-Georgian cultural ties, and the implementation of other joint cultural activities that promote and develop Armenian-Georgian friendship.      

To note, the painting exhibition will be open until September 23.
