Georgian PM Bidzina Ivanishvili confessed he “loves Armenians and never concealed it”.
Presenting the presidential nominee from Georgian Dream bloc in Armenian-populated Akhalkalaki, Ivanishvili said he is hopeful that “the Armenian brothers” will support their candidate, Gruziya Online reported.
“We will win the elections, and I am sure that the entire Akhalkalaki, our Armenian brothers, our compatriots will support us. The government is doing everything for each family to feel the well-being. We are brothers, you are the citizens of Georgia, like others. Georgia faces problems. We lost territory, there are also problems in your country where you are from, and I hope that we all have pass it with dignity and stand on the road to recovery,” Ivanishvili said.
Presidential elections in Georgia are slated for October 27.
