YEREVAN. – The opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC) has no information about the reasons for resignation of Heritage parliamentary faction leader.

Secretary of ANC parliamentary group Aram Manukyan said he cannot give his assessment.

“It is their right. I do respect sovereign rights of other parties,” Manukyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am commenting on changes in Heritage parliamentary faction.

Head of Heritage parliamentary faction Ruben Hakobyan gave up his position without explaining the reasons. During the party’s Tuesday meeting Zaruhi Postnjyan was appointed a new leader of the parliamentary faction.
