Two citizens of Georgia were killed in a criminal scuffle near the Armenian-Georgian border.

The shots were exchanged between Georgian criminal authorities. Local police detained six people suspected of willful homicide.

Attackers had two vehicles and attempted to flee the scene, official website of the Georgian Internal Affairs Ministry reported.

Wounded persons have been transferred to Geohospital in Marneuli; two of them, namely Merab Kalandadze and Giorgi Piranishvili died shortly after being admitted to hospital.
