Armenian-Turkish relations have no connection with the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) Minsk Group Co-Chair James Warlick (USA) noted the abovementioned at a briefing on Tuesday in Stepanakert, capital city of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR).
The briefing was held after the three Minsk Group co-chairs’ meeting with NKR President Bako Sahakyan.
In Warlick’s words, if Turkey wishes to play a role in the settlement of the Karabakh conflict, that role should be positive for everyone and seek the establishment of stability, peace and prosperity in the region.
The US co-chair added that the OSCE Minsk Group will do everything so that the conflict settlement be universal and a sustainable peace is achieved in the region.
