YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Nature Protection Ministry is going to discuss in parliament a bill banning use of genetically-modified animal feed.

After the government’s meeting on Thursday, Nature Protection Ministry Aram Harutyunyan said they are going to declare Armenia a GMO free country.

He noted that genetically-modified feed will not be used at fish farms where Sevan trout is grown.
