Canada has imposed sanctions against seven Russian and three Crimean officials, PM Stephen Harper said.

Ten officials are banned from traveling to Canada, and their assets will be frozen. The sanctions are imposed in particular on Vice Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin and Vladimir Putin’s assistants as well as on Crimea PM Sergey Aksenov, CBC reported.

Earlier U.S. and EU imposed sanctions against Russian and Ukrainian officials.
