YEREVAN. – Armenian and Azerbaijani leaders do not see possibilities for compromise on Karabakh, political analyst Sergey Markedonov said.
Markedonov believes the problem is not in “evil” Moscow, “evel” Washington or European Union.
“Moscow and Washington can help a little or interfere a little in the current situation, but unless political leaders find sertain formula, nothing will change,” he said during a conference “NATO and South Caucasus: Strategic Approach to Regional Security”.
He belives if there is pragmatic approach, not abstract democratic values, but real interests and readieness to compromise, the solution will be found.
