STEPANAKERT. – Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), or Artsakh, President Bako Sahakyan on Friday attended the ceremony of handing keys to the residents of a newly built apartment building in capital city Stepanakert.

Sahakyan stressed that the Artsakh authorities will continue providing housing to the families of the fallen freedom fighters, Karabakh war veterans with first-degree disability, the NKR Defense Army servicemen and discharged soldiers, and large families.

The President expressed gratitude to philanthropists Edgar Aramyan and Vassily Sargsyan for participating in this process, considering it as a patriotic initiative, informed the Central Information Department of the Office of the NKR President.

Primate of the Artsakh Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church Archbishop Pargev Martirosyan, NKR National Assembly Speaker Ashot Ghulyan, PM Ara Harutyunyan, several other officials, and guests from abroad also were on hand at the event.
