YEREVAN. – Charitable organization “Aleppo” launches fund raising campaign to provide assistance to Armenians of Kessab, an Armenian-populated town in Syria.

Members of organization said starting from April 5 they will place special boxes to raise funds, and 70 percent of accumulated funds will be sent to Syria.

The rest 30% will remain in Armenia to support those who would decide leaving Latakia province, member of organization Hakop Fagedjyan told reporters on Wednesday.
 
The organization guarantees transparency of all operations, in particular any organization or media outlet may appeal to “Aleppo” office to get detailed information concerning the funds.
 
The members said they are in contact with Syria. According to their information, there are no Armenians killed in Kessab.
