A delegation headed by Speaker of Karabakh National Assembly Ashot Ghulyan arrived on a working visit to Berlin.

The delegates visited Johannes Lepsius Museum in Potsdam and had a meeting with director of museum Rolf Hosfeld.

Presenting the exhibition, director briefed the delegation members on Lepsius' work on collecting materials related to Armenian Genocide. Ashot Ghulyan signed the book of guests of honor and discussed issues of further cooperation.

On  the same day European Academy of Berlin hosted an event “Role and Essence of Nagorno-Karabakh and Development of South Caucasus”.  Ashot Ghulyan was a key speaker at the event.

Touching upon state building in Karabakh, he presented the current stage  of Karabakh-Azerbaijan talks, adding that creation of background for peaceful coexistence of two neighboring states -- NKR and Azerbaijan -- is the shortest way to achieve lasting peace.

The experts present at the meeting presented their views on implementation of nations' right to self-determination, efforts of the mediators, prospects for regional development.
