YEREVAN. – Meeting of the Council of the Heads of CIS countries will be convened in the second half of this year.  

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated the aforementioned following the session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of CIS countries, reported ITAR-TASS news agency of Russia.

“We have had a productive meeting; we have discussed the preparation of several documents.

“We have significantly contributed to the preparation for the summit of the CIS countries,” the Russian FM said.

In turn, Belarus FM Vladimir Makei stated that the meeting of the Council of the Prime Ministers of the CIS countries will be convened at the end of May in Minsk, capital city of Belarus.
