In his words, Armenia National Security Council Secretary Arthur Baghdasaryan, who now deals with the matters on the immigration law, will soon head to Russia.

Minasyan noted that, until recently, Russia had strong views against dual citizenship, and this change in view has caused concern in Armenia.

“[But] I believe the Russian party, which has adjusted its relations with Armenia, understands this concern; a technical solution may be given to this matter,” the analyst said.
