Armenia is extremely successful in implementing road map on joining Customs Union and Common Economic Space, Russian Deputy Minister Vasily Nebenzya said.

Completion of the road map will serve as the basis for drafting a treaty on Armenia's joining Customs Union and the Common Economic Space, and then to join the Eurasian Economic Union.

EurAsEC will cease to exist approximately from January 2015 and will be replaced by the Eurasian Economic Union.

“We are finalizing preparation for the agreement on the Eurasian Economic Union. A meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council with the participation of the presidents of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan will take place on April 29. They have a task to finalize the agreement on the Eurasian Economic Union by May,” Nebenzya said.
