YEREVAN. – The Government of Armenia held a Cabinet meeting Thursday, during which it approved the bill on making amendments and additions to the Civil Code.

The said bill proposes to introduce in Armenia the institution of compensation for non-pecuniary damage, thus ensure the proper fulfillment of the country’s European Convention commitments.

“With the adoption of the law, the Armenian citizens’ legal protection level will rise, since they will be given a new effective tool for legal protection,” the government’s respective statement reads.
