ALEPPO. – Paghtig Keshisian, who was wounded as a result of the mortar attacks on April 12 against the Armenian districts of the Syrian city of Aleppo, has died, reported Kantsasar Armenian newspaper of Aleppo. 

Another Armenian by the name of Sarkis Mardirossian likewise was wounded on the same, as a result of the mortar attacks, but he still remains in hospital.

As reported earlier, an Armenian by the name of Garo Avakian was wounded as a result of shelling at the Armenian districts of Aleppo, Syria.

Avakian is 48 years old, the press service of the Diocese of Aleppo of the Armenian Apostolic Church informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Aleppo’s predominantly Armenian-populated Nor Kiugh and Sulaymaniyah districts, which actually have become uninhabited, were intensively shelled since early Thursday morning. Several other districts were attacked, too.    

Syrian Armenian Koko Ashnaklian, 19, had died Wednesday as a result of shelling in Aleppo.
