YEREVAN. – The Yerevan Zoo—of Armenia’s capital city—will officially announce the annual Season Opening Day on Thursday.

On that day Yerevan Zoo will be open for its visitors from 9:30am until 10:30pm.

In the new season Yerevan Zoo will come up with a number of innovations: new animal species, renovated areas, and the Zoo magazine will be published with a variety of surprises for its little readers, including games and competitions, free tickets to the Zoo, its playground park, etc.

On Thursday, the visitors of Yerevan Zoo can expect unforgettable moments full of pleasant surprises, live music, theatrical performances, and games that will keep their spirits high throughout the whole day.

The little visitors of the Zoo will be greeted by famous fairytale characters and clowns and get their faces painted like their favorite animals.

The musical and theatrical events will begin at 10am run until 6pm.

From 11am to 4:30pm the visitors can witness the animal feeding presentations. The signs at the Zoo entrance and next to the animal enclosures will convey information about the animal feeding schedule.

In addition, there will be amusement as well as information booths in different parts of the Zoo.
