Iran has agreed to install, in the country, equipment for the GLONASS space-based satellite navigation system operated by Russia. 

The aforesaid information was publicized in the document that summed up the results of the session of the Russian-Iranian joint group on cooperation in the domain of space.

“The Iranian side expressed willingness to install a differential correction and monitoring station as well as quantum-optical systems,” reads the minutes of the group’s meeting on May 10, reported Izvestia daily of Russia.
