YEREVAN. – Five people wounded in a shootout in the center of Yerevan are undergoing surgeries, a source in the hospital told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

One of them is in severe condition, he sustained a gunshot wound in his stomach. According to some reports, the unknown fired from an automatic rifle. Three people suffered leg wounds.

The injured were identified as Norayr Harutyunyan, Valery Hovhannisyan, Myasnik Hayrapetyan, Albina Badalyan and Mnatsakan Sukiasyan.
